In general, below 5.7% is normal. Between 5.7% and 6.4% is diagnosed as prediabetes. 6.5% or higher in two separate tests indicates diabetes.

You are immediately advised to take medications and be active everyday (45mins of brisk walk) daily. Avoid refined carbohydrates and sugars. Additionally, fill half of your plate with non starchy vegetables at every meal, and include lean protein and plant based fat to assist with blood sugar control
If you are not undergoing chemotherapy and there is a drop in hemoglobin levels then it means you are under stress or not eating nutricious meals. This might be a possible cause for the drop in hemoglobin levels in two weeks.
