The recommended blood glucose range after fasting for 2 hours by a person who does not have diabetes is 70 to 130mg/dL. 132 is slightly high and might indicate prediabetes.
This means that while fasting your blood sugar is slightly elevated and after meals the blood sugar levels are coming to normal
In type 2 diabetes, the pancreas makes insulin, but the cells don't respond to it as they should. This is called insulin resistance.
This indicates that you are not managing your blood sugar levels properly. This can make you susceptible to heart kidney and eye damage.
