The blood sugar level rises immediately after a meal or snack in diabetics. In healthy individuals insulin is secreted to keep the blood glucose levels below 100mg/dl for good control.
Majority of people living with diabetes should exercise. However, people who have then tendency to get hypoglycemia should not exercise vigorously.
Studies found that exercising 30 minutes a day reduces your risk of diabetes by 25 percent, and walking for 10 minutes after meals lowers your blood sugar by 22 percent.
